I always had an interest in coin collecting. I had saved multiple half dollars, old pennies, buffalo nickels, susan b. anthony coins, etc. Lost my collection once I got married though.

My sister, Wendy, talked me into getting a minted collection for my firstborn son, Tim, for the year he was born. I was always curious about the values of coins and what precious metals trading was all about. My brother Mark even had a book that listed the values of coins and I remember always hoping to find I believe it was a 1942 (not sure on the year being that was over 20 yrs. ago) penny because it was rare.
Here we are an 8 yr. old and 11 yr. old dreaming of becoming gazillionaires with a penny. Never know!
