Merry Christmas!!!
Can’t believe another year passed on by. I Praise the Lord for another year with my mother. Even though she continues fighting cancer, the Lord has blessed her with minimal side effects and basically good health and energy. The Lord is definitely in control as he continues to bring down the cancer cell count; her doctor is amazed.
This chemo that mom is currently on was to be the last treatment available to her and the doctor continuously informed her that there’s nothing else after this treatment other than comfort care. So with that news of this being her last 6-weeks and then its up to the cancer from there, our hearts again put our trust in the Lord for healing and realize its up to the Lord–not the Doctors. Mom is a living testimony and confirmation of God’s healing power! I’m so thankful that the Lord is allowing us more time together. Every moment is a gift and treasure.
Mom still has more energy than I do. She’s amazing!!!
This year has brought a lot of changes to my household. Tim turned 18 years old this May and we celebrated with him embracing the reality of Him becoming an Adult in the big world. The only thing in life that is truly Easy is pushing the easy button on his newly inherited birthday gift. “That was Easy!”, says the button.
Tim graduated from High School in June. Before the next school year started for Luke’s 10th grade year in September, Tim was off to Arizona to go to college there at MMI. Luke moved over into Tim’s bigger room and Luke’s room was turned into Russ’s office. There is still a twin bed in there for when Tim comes home this month for the Holiday with us. Tim is keeping an awesome grade point average of 100.0 and is on the Director’s List. We’re really proud of him.
