Hi Friends,
Many people probably already do this, but I’d like to share something that has been most valuable to me. During rough times is when it seems to help the most.
Write a Note or Journal to Jesus.
It’s writing a letter to Jesus, writing a prayer, venting, and even just writing thank you notes and praise notes to the Lord. Writing about things he has shown me through out the day or how he’s handled a situation in a way that I would’ve never imagined possible. It’s been extremely useful to do this. Not only to get things off your chest to go forward in situation, but also as something to build a bond of friendship and reverence between you and the Lord.

Doris and Jack are located in the bottom center of the photo. Doris wearing a Red Shirt and Jack sitting next to her in the blue plaid shirt.
Doris Beasley passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2008.
She is survived by her husband Jack and children.
Funeral Information as follows:
Date: Saturday, March 1, 2008.
Greenwood Memorial Park, Garden Chapel,
4300 Imperial Avenue
San Diego, CA 92113
Doris and Jack are treasured friends to my parents, Richard and Nancy Bowman, and my family too for several years now. Russ and I have had the pleasure of sharing many meals and family gatherings with Jack and Doris. They’ve become a significant part of the family. All Our love goes out to Jack during this time. Doris’s health has been taking a turn for the worse the last couple years, with some ups and downs, but Jack steadfastly stayed by her side through it all. What a team they’ve been. Please pray with us for the Lord to comfort him in a special way today. Thank you for your prayers.

Don’t you hate it when you get scam email! Especially ones that state they have money in Large amounts waiting for you, but you have to send them personal information and the kicker you have to keep it confidential. Hmmm…why????
I have to admit, some of them are extremely clever. They not only look possibly legitimate, but they come up with pretty unique and interesting stories of Bologna to get your interest or they hope to get you to feel sorry for their situation so you’ll want to help them out. Be Aware–it’s an Identity Theft SCAM. I sure hope you don’t fall for these things. If ever in question…just delete the email. Okay, you’ll say this is common sense. Believe it or not some of the letters are pretty convincing and deceptive, so don’t get taken advantage.
I’ve been keeping a log lately of the emails I’ve been receiving and I’m worth over a Billion scam dollars– if I add them up.
***View one of the scam emails***Click Here
Some emails come from West Africa, South Africa, Canada, Switzerland, Mexico, China and I’ve even had a few from New Orleans and Florida. The stories are basically similar. Either a Bank Representative from another country contacting Me for a deceased US citizen or Family Member of a deceased person in another country that wants to make me their beneficiary so the large sum of money will not go to the Government, but it all must remain confidential so authorities aren’t alarmed. When you read, “keep it confidential” or something similar, “so authorities don’t get involved”…Big Red Flags go up in my mind. DELETE button gets pushed really quick at that point.
Have you ever received such an email? Share your story.

I’ve been enjoying Journey Community Church’s weekly podcasts that allow me to hear the weekly sermons. They have really stimulated my heart and desire to seek the Lord even greater than ever.
The sermons not only confirm what I believe, but Ed and the Pastors speak in such a real, down to earth way that helps stir my heart to pursue the Lord deeply in my life.
Download them and listen for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
If you are able to access podcasts through itunes go here.

Last Saturday night it was pretty windy in Chula Vista. Mom and Dad woke up on Sunday seeing this in the back yard. Not feeling well and dreading the huge task they pondered what to do about it. Russ and I was out of town in Arizona so we weren’t able to help out.
Luckily Robin lives close by, so they called her up to see if Matt could come over and help them out. Amazingly, Matt was available and offered to come over and help fix the mess.
I could only imagine the challenge of moving all this and setting it back up as stable awnings. Thanks Matt for all your help to Mom & Dad.
