When it rains it pours

Well, we didn’t make it out to church today because Luke was scared that he’d get in trouble by his Home Supervision Officer for some reason. Even though we were told he was good if we call him out. Since we’ve had many things going on helping mom and dad bowman Friday and Saturday and we weren’t home for him to meet up with his Home Sup. Officers we decided to stay home to connect. Sure enough around 1pm he arrived and we were able to ask him all our questions and make sure everything is ok to go to church etc. As long as we call and let him know we’re taking Luke with us to Church he’s good. We do need to connect with his PO also and get permission for things, but it seems like the PO is busy and getting approval isn’t real easy to do. The Home Supervision officers are working with us though and helping with getting the info to the PO. They’ve given us approval for Monday’s trip to New Port area and said they’ll speak with the PO. If any problems, they’ll let us know. So Luke’s mind was put at ease. He doesn’t want to do anything to get himself back to Juvie, if he can help it. We’re good for now. Hopefully the PO and Judge will gain favor for Luke’s efforts to abide by the rules and not want to take chances to get in trouble. I’m impressed that he cares to make sure. That is definitely a change in Luke.

So right now we’ve got Luke’s home arrest, Mom and Dad’s computer went out and Russ had to set up their new mac, travel up to Newport Area for Russ’s work on Monday and then off to see Tim Lord willing for a few days after that, and financial frustration in between waiting and watching to see how the Lord helps us through it all. Please keep us in your prayers as we face a lot of changes.

The Judge

Wednesday night Russ and I barely slept a couple hours. Not knowing how the juvenile court procedures go or how traffic would be to get there by 8am, we decided to leave the house early. We left about 6:30am to be sure to get there. Fortunately traffic wasn’t too heavy and we found the courthouse with minimal difficulty. Doors don’t open til 7:30 am so we decided to go over to a taco shop and share a breakfast burrito. Our nerves were on edge and stomachs upset just imaging all the possibilities of what could happen. Russ & I prayed together for the Lords wisdom to know what to say before the Judge and we asked for the Lord to help and protect Luke too. The Lord brought us peace and blessed the food we ate which helped our stomachs.

Updates on Luke

Luke Wittmann 16 years oldMonday night the 23rd, I found myself grieving all night for Luke; broken hearted beyond anything I could describe. My whole body just uncontrollably shaking and unable to breathe just thinking about what he may be experiencing. My face hurt so bad from crying so deeply. Feeling horror of not being able to rescue or help him in anyway from experiencing this situation. Praying constantly all night for the Lord’s protection around Luke and that the Lord will soften Luke’s heart to turn to the Lord for help and change for the better. Russ and I comforted each other the best we could, just reminding each other its out of our hands and Luke has chosen to go this road no matter what we tried to do with him. We prayed together for his protection and our peace and wisdom to handle this situation right.

Yesterday morning, Russ and I were woken up about 8:30am to a phone call from Juvenile Hall’s onsite Nurse.

Worst day of my Life!

Today has been the worst day of my life. Luke was arrested and put in juvenile hall. He’s been having a hard time accepting a restriction he earned for doing things anyway after we said “no”. Arguing, name calling, and other frustrating confrontations led to more privileges removed. Saying no seems to be difficult for Luke to handle. This Sunday night he decided to threaten his own life and ours then ran away to finish himself off according to him.

We called the sheriffs immediately when Luke ran off. No one found him. Luke was added to Missing Persons list. All night long I mourned for him and dreaded a call telling me the worst. Crying and praying all night long, not knowing where to look for him.

Colonix (day 23)

Well, nothing special to report. Russ same as always. Me sometimes I go and sometimes I don’t. Sorry no fun pictures to share. I was really hoping for something good too. :)

Colonix – (day 20)

Colonix box pictureDaily update for you.

Russ

It seems like Russ is having great success with Colonix. He faithfully does his regimen, gets the bowels moving, and he’s all good. He says that his desire for alcohol and coffee has slowed down and he has a new appreciation for the taste of water compared to before. He also claims that he feels more energetic and just an all around “feels good” feeling.

Julie
For me, after having the mystery 4-day fever that ended Sunday (3 days ago), I’m not seeing much difference from my movements any more, but I am moving a little daily. So that is more than before I started the program. I am noticing that I’m burping up the herbal taste from the paranil pills throughout the day though. I guess my body isn’t liking some of this stuff or something. :)
On the positive side, I’ve noticed a few new things:

Doesn’t Obama’s Name alone bother you?

United States Flag - Obama Doesn't Care to Respect It...who will?If Obama’s whole name (Barack Hussein Obama) alone doesn’t bother you even a little, there has to be something wrong with you! Have you asked yourself WHY his campaigns leave out his middle name? Just because it’ll remind you to look into his Background and really findout who He and his wife really are as people. The name alone…ISN’T an American Name…it’s representative of another country. At least one name being a little American sounding would be nice…Sam, Arnold, Frank, Jerry, McDonald, Stew, something. :)

Have you truly considered his background, upbringing, religious beliefs, disrespectful patriotic attitude he projects as being acceptable and no big deal? Is America no longer Patriotic or Appreciative of our Military Veterans that fought for our freedoms over many generations? Better figure out quick…who you really want to represent America and make a stand for what is right!

I liked this video it shares some of my concerns too: click here

Recovered from Fever

Well, so much for my Colonix experience until today.

Last Thursday, I started running a fever. Don’t know what caused it or why. Really strange to all of a sudden run a 100.9 fever up to 101.9 and back and forth til Sunday early morning. Just as sudden as it started…it suddenly went away.

I decided to stop the Colonix process during this time period and resume when I got better. So today I will resume and see what happens.

Colonix (Day 6 – 12)

Starting from day 6 we were supposed to double the Paranil caps and now take 1 whole scoop of cleansing fiber, and at night steep the tea 5-10 minutes. I’m assuming for more intensive cleansing.

Lighting Choices

Farrey's LightingI can’t believe how many different lighting styles, brands, and just plain choices there are. I really enjoy shopping through Farrey’s online lighting store to get ideas for decorating my home.

Just to name a few…here are some of the top manufactures that they carry:
Ambience
Fine Art Lamps
Flos
Fontana Arte
George Kovacs
Hinkley Lighting
Kichler Lighting
Maxim Lighting
Minka Lavery
Murray Feiss
Quoizel
Sea Gull Lighting

dark officeI’m trying to find unique lighting for Russ’s office space. The Lamp we have in there right now just doesn’t give him enough light. If he opened his blinds during the day he’d have a lot of light, but it causes a problem for him when he works on his computer. I’m thinking of a strip of lights of some kind above his desk area. Just there’s a problem…there is a little overhang nook area that his desk sits back into. Have to figure this out.

If you have any ideas leave me some comments. Checkout Farrey’s website and if you find a specific lighting that would work well in this space leave a comment and I’ll check into it. Please share your ideas with me for his workspace. Thanks.
