Today, I was a bit tired from getting up every hour on the hour with Buddy our dog. So I didn’t get started until around 10:30am. Russ got us glasses of water (16 oz. cups) we both took our Paranil pills, waited awhile and drank down the fiber mix and another glass of water. I did another 3/4 scoop of the fiber mix. It seems to help me doing that. I had a little stomachache for awhile this morning, but it went away.
We started getting hungry for lunch around 1:00pm. Within a half hour of eating and drinking another glass of water, I had an extreme bowel movement–more than yesterday. Its hard to believe all that is in my intestines. I was really happy so much movement is going on for me. Its working. I’m going to really make sure to exercise tonight even if its just walking for awhile.
Russ’s Legs are still bothering him today. I rubbed his legs down last night with sunbreeze oil from Sunrider. It helped relax the muscles a bit, he slept right through all Buddy’s episodes during the night. Regular as always…He’s had at least 2 movements already today and most likely another after dinner time.
To the jacuzzi tonight…maybe that’ll help his legs.

I got up about 8:30 am and did the colonix regemin. I decided to add 3/4 scoop of the cleansing fiber mix to see if I go better today. Russ decided to get up for church, so he did the regimen too. Russ doesn’t seem to be having a problem at all going to the bathroom. By 9am he already had his first movement for the day. Luckyyyyy
Me – I wasn’t as gasey this morning, had medium movement right after church around 12:15pm. I wasn’t feeling the bowel urge as much today. Around 2pm I was soooo tired out of nowhere. I had to lie down on my bed for half hour and when I got up I had a huge bowel movement. Ok, I’m thinking this cleansing is really doing something now. I haven’t moved my bowels like this in such a long time. We had our tea around 10:30pm and I found it really relaxed me and I was ready for bed and slept pretty good…until Buddy (our dog) woke me up gagging throughout the night. Maybe he needs a cleansing…haahaa
Russ – Regular as always. So lucky he is. The only thing he’s noticing going on with his body that is different is his leg muscles are cramping up on him. His calves and thigh near the knees. Right knee more than the left though. Okay…he also played the wii bowling game today and yesterday with my nieces, which could’ve pulled his muscles too. We’ll have to keep an eye on that.

We got up and did our colonix regemin. We found out yesterday it wasn’t too bad drinking enough water and discovered we even drank more than enough for the day.
Russ – he is so regular I’m jealous. He seemed to be really happy with the amount of bowel he was able to expell. He claims to fill the toilet. He had a bit of gas most the day…reaked badly, but hey its all part of the process
Me – I was slightly crampy in morning, had small movement (drop) in AM and some gas throughout day. I found myself going into bathroom a lot several times during the day with the urge to go, but nothing until around 10pm. Then I had a really nice, smooth, strange colored movement. The most bowel I’ve seen in weeks.

Well, Russ and I decided to try out the Colonix colon cleansing system. A friend of Russ’s was trying it and within 2 weeks he had passed so much out of his colon he was 20 lbs. lighter than when he started. I’m a huge skeptic when it comes to all these quick help remedies that guarantee success, but after hearing it from a friend well we said, “What the hay…why not try it!” So, I’ll keep you informed daily how our a Colonix process is proceeding.

The news about the microwaved popcorn’s butter flavors causing lung disease has been around for quite some time in the Health & Nutrition Communities. Why is it now that ABC news is finally telling the story as if it’s new information.
The disease is actually called “Popcorn Lung”. All the symptoms of a rare disease dubbed “popcorn lung,” which derives its name because it was found in popcorn plant workers exposed to a flavoring ingredient called diacetyl. Diacetyl is a natural substance heated in a factory setting to give microwave popcorn its buttery taste.
Read ABC’s article in full for yourself. Here’s one for your Laura!!! You knew it all along. Gotta love it.

There’s this website called Epocrates Online that gives you all the information you’d ever want on prescription medications. From what I’m understanding, its a resource to over 500,000 healthcare providers already and it is now free to anyone online. All you have to do is register and you have a FREE Account.
For example, checkout the information they have for Advair, it’s an asthma medication currently on the market for use. If you click on the word Advair above, the link will take you to view the actual information they offer. One of the features are to view an actual photo of the pill or medication. I’m a visual person, so the more info the better informed I feel.
The website is called Epocrates Online at http://online.epocrates.com/
Let me know what you think and if the website was helpful to you.

Can you believe that Christmas is right around the corner? If you’re like me, it’s time to start planning for Christmas Gifts now. Gourmet gift baskets have come in handy for special gifts to people we’ve worked with, friends, and family. Ordering it online saves a lot of time too.
GourmetGiftBaskets.com is a place I’ve found to be an excellent source for deciding on just the right basket to send someone. There are so many choices to choose from. What I really like about this place is… that if you want to add items and/or take items out or special Holiday wrap they have a good selection to choose from, just call them up and they’ll create a custom basket just for you. What service!
